Please watch this video I made about how parents were disappointed about HTTYD 2 because it was “Too dark and scary”

As an educator, this worries me about the current & future generations. When I was growing up, lots of “kids” movies and shows had discussions about the bad things in life; death, illness, etc. Movies that have these types of scenes or topics are very helpful to children. It exposes the ideas in relatively safe ways for children, as a fictional source AKA a movie or show. It is better to have this topic brought up and discussed when the source is a fictional character so it can be talked about without waiting for a actual member of your family dying. I lost my father at the age of six and I can tell you, discussing death when the person is from a movie is a whole lot easier to process than when it is an actual living person from your life.

I was an emotional mess at this movie. Definitely cried.

Kinda nervous to hear the next segment of Welcome to Night Vale. What if something happens to my babies….. :(

When I was a kid I thought your 20s were supposed to be fun, not filled with perpetual anxiety about financial stability and constantly feeling like an unaccomplished piece of shit.

Lets include doubts about self value, both socially and romantically. I always though someone would want me at this point in my life….
